I don’t know what original estimates on cost were, but I think up to ~$450 million now. Wonder what the final price tag will be?

I try not to care as I don’t really understand all the financial paths to get these things built (there is always conflicting reports), but seeing things like this make me laugh, perhaps, ironically?

it's just a bad time to fund projects like this due to inflationary pressures on labor and materials, plus higher interest rates. i expect projected increased costs are due to those two factors.

I don’t think this is happening/possible, but my peanut brain just had the hope that the scoreboard/south endzone is demolished this off-season too, and next year, in addition to the 50% or so capacity stadium seating, we have the Hill back for a couple years.

Time to find those old partyball shells.
