2nd best ever very much a discussion at this moment.

He can do what he wants but I’d either:
A. Redo your deal so you aren’t paid as a top 2 QB and continue with the advertisement assault and embrace full villain
B. Keep your deal but pump brakes on ads. It’s on the a bit much line now. I can’t imagine next round.

Maybe I am wrong, but I don't see him taking less money. At least not yet.

He’s likely not choosing A or B.
He should.

Patrick Mahomes has been a starting QB in the NFL for six seasons, during which time he:

- has been to four Super Bowls, and won three
- has never finished worse than the AFC title game
- won the division in all six seasons
- has an 83% (!) playoff winning percentage

After decades of watching other teams draft great QBs and the Chiefs coming up short, this run has been extra sweet.

This summer schedule is full already, but we might need to have a poll of the 4 greatest Chief's victories of the Mahomes era next spring and look at the idea of football on the drive in screen in the Empire.

Buffalo 13 seconds OT 2022 - one of the greatest games in NFL history.
Philly Super Bowl 2023.
San Fran Super Bowl 2024.

Then either San Fran Super Bowl 2019 or, I think the better case of showing Mahomes magic, Tennessee AFC Championship 2019.

Yeah, when your 6 seasons as a starter end with:

3 Super Bowl wins
1 Super Bowl Loss
2 AFCCG losses, both in OT

you're on a pretty impressive start to your career.

If I'm your one year old and you don't take me along to your greatest Super Bowl win, I put a pillow over your face while you sleep when I turn 18.

So really, what is the under/over set at now?
As Fish said it'd have to be 5.5 with a bad return on the over or 6.5 with a fair return on the under.

Andy is obviously still here next year, but how many years does he have left?

he’s 65? avg age of current nfl coaches is only 47

just read he’s now the oldest hc in the league

Now that Belichick is temporarily unemployed at age 71 and 72 year old Pete Carroll "retired". And both of them would still be coaching next season if they had Mahomes as their QB and were having the results that the Chiefs are having. I think we have at least 5 more years of Reid.

Depends on how long Kelce plays, how well they replace him once he does retire, how they rebuild the WR room and how they reshape the defense once they make decisions on Chris Jones and Sneed.
