Priceless!!
I hadn't, thanks for the heads-up!

(How can you not like Dark Brandon?)

And when Trump puts it like this, you can finally understand why ~50% of the nation is willing to throw 240 years of our nation's history and the constitution away to follow his every grievance and whim, instead:

"...a large and distinguished group will be there..."

I have seen grown men get more upset about a sandbagger "stealing" $30 in pro shop credit by winning (by way of an inflated index) third place in couples' night golf than they get about, like, mass shootings.

And yet the pull of cementing minority rule is so compelling that even an affront THIS egregious will not amount to anything.

Consciously or subconsciously, he has a habit of repeated word usage to convince HIMSELF of things more than he's trying to convince others - of what he either falsely believes, or blatantly knows he's lying about.
For example......
He used the word Great - twice. Meaning, in reality NOT so great.
He used the word Large - twice. Meaning, in reality NOT so large.
He used the word Exciting - twice. Meaning, in reality NOT so exciting.

Me too. I worked at a golf course for years and never heard that expression, ever.

His pathological need to compensate for his shortcomings, real AND imagined, would be heartrending if he weren't such a piece of shit.

And twocoach's link to the article about him cheating, says it all.

Exactly. He is defensive, in advance, of his rigged club championships.

He is world-historical soft, which you would THINK would turn off his supporters. Until you realize that they probably see a reflection of their own (closeted) fundamental weakness and vulnerability.

He's nearly everything I was brought up to avoid being like.

And, frankly, what a lot of his supporters WANT YOU TO KNOW they're just too virtuous to raise their kids to be like.

70% of registered voters say it should be possible to charge a former president with a federal crime for alleged crimes committed while in office, according to a new Quinnipiac poll. Just 24% disagree.

It’s funny, but it belies something deeply fucked and scary, which is that a gigantic segment of our country (which would self-identify as “small government” and rail against the “nanny state” and so on) appears to have no understanding of the power that would be conferred on government if they get their way.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
