My assumption is that the vast majority fo their classes are online to where they can do them at any time from anywhere.

I think it largely depends on the player.

No, but they do have limits on time they can be coached. Which is dumb.

I think you're right that some people develop better in college, where they have time to slowly build up to the competition they face.

Others have done fine just going straight into the pros.

In this particular instance, I think Furphy probably would be better served spending another year (at minimum) in college. We've got some young guys doing decent in the league (Gradey, Och, CB) and I think he's by far the worst at basketball out of those guys. We have also had other guys I think are better at basketball than him go to the league and flame out relatively quickly.

I hope he makes it. He has intriguing skills and size. I am not overly optimistic about his chances of being an above average NBA player.
Worthless 2 cents.....
As he gets closer to the draft he will know if he will be a first rounder. If so, I have to figure he's gone.
Second round - he stays in college. KU? Probably.

Rumor mill has it the likelihood of furphy pulling out of nba draft is beginning to look favorable.

We might see a sophomore year after all

Zeke Mayo, the Lawrence grad, and the transfer who I will cheer for most because of that.

The "rumor mill" is worth about as much as the toilet paper I wiped my ass with a couple of hours ago.

Smoke leads to fire bud. Furphy isn't fully committed to the draft and is thinking more strongly about returning

As of a few days ago, yes. Self told him "we" have a spot for him if he wants to return. Of course that can change.

Hey "Bud", if you used your brain you would realize there is a damn good chance I know more about Furphy and his future than you - and your "rumor mill" does.
But hey, thanks for filling US in on what the "rumor mill" is saying.

So if he returns... Assuming that means no Kugel...

Harris
Storr
Furphy
KJ
Dickinson

Can you really start that lineup?
