McNeeley to UConn. Not surprised. They should be able to get anyone they want right now. Hurley is the hottest coach in the game.

Hurley's bro got a DUI in college.
I'm sure the Hurley's are strong drinkers.

Arkansas is going to be better than UK next year. The C-A-T-S (cats cats cats) fans are going to be in a meltdown the entire year.

i’ll be shocked if there aren’t a number of sec teams better than uk, next year and for the next few

arkie and ‘bama almost certainly

it’ll be interesting to watch Pope’s tenure
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

it's amazing how fast their fans went from

"we need to patient, gotta give him 3 or 4 years to build his brand"

to

"OMG he's amazing, look at the staff and pieces he's putting together, are we gonna get a title in year 1? I think we're a final four team right now"

if he doenst come out hot it's gonna be a real rough ride for him I would guess.

Which, we all knew, but still interesting to watch in real time.

well, we all knew that a fairly large faction of that fan base is absolutely delusional when it comes to expectations

only a matter of time i suppose

Really, Cal was one of the few guys that could handle all the PR BS that comes with that job.

Yup. Sometimes you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone.

I think he knew this was the perfect time to leave them hanging. And judging by how many big names said "no thanks", I think he was right.

Maybe Pope will do well, but there is absolutely flop potential.

Well, Pope can coach basketball, but unfortunately that is not the whole job at the UK circus.

In the modern era, "coaching basketball" is about 25% of the job.
