Not Achilles thankfully. He's so perfect in the role he's in with Boston.

That was some good basketball down the stretch of that game.

Lakers could have won at least 3 of the 4 games they lost. But they didn't.

I think LeBron is a close 1B to Jordan but I think his chance to win another Finals MVP is probably sub 2 percent now.

The not funny thing is some people felt the Lakers were dumb for trying to win the 7-8 play in game knowing if they won they would face the Nuggets in the first round.
Maybe I'm crazy but I can't help but wonder if they would have had better luck against the Thunder.
Regardless, let's check out the last 4 seasons for the Lakers.

2021: 1st round loss vs. Suns
2022: Missed playoffs
2023: Swept in WCF vs. Nuggets
2024: 1st round loss vs. Nuggets

LeBron may not have a choice but my guess is he can't be happy and has to be wondering if he would be better off elsewhere.

He will end up on whatever team is dumb enough to draft his son. We've all seen that coming for 2 years, right?

This is probably true and i think very dumb of him for his legacy ( though a lot of Jordan cultists have made up their mind and even if LeBron won 3 more titles in the next 3 years it wouldn't matter ).

For him though, it's his son, and on a personal level, I think it'd be pretty sweet in this instance ( about to retire ) to play a year or two with your kid. So if he does want that, I get it.

His legacy is what it is. Playing a year with his son isn't going to change it. As you said, he will never pass Jordan in the minds of people who do not already have him there. Playing on a team with his kid would be amazing even though it may lead to some resentment when it becomes clear to everyone else on the team that the son is not an NBA caliber player and is only there taking up a spot meant for a more deserving player because of who his father is. Bronny James is not an NBA caliber player. He isn't even a good P5 level college player.

If a team wants to draft Bronny to try to get LeBron then go for it.

I disagree that he's not a good P5 level college player just because he had a bad freshman season on a bad team. He almost died right before the season. I think I'll wait to decide how good he might be in 5 years given the limited sample size of his college career (so far).

I think there is still a chance he transfers somewhere and spends another year or two in college.

I dunno, didn't watch it. But 28 fts for Lebrakers and 9 for the Nuggets.

Shaq showing some major love to Embiid in the pregame show. It's cool they are close now.

Fwiw, Shaq said you're supposed to touch those little guys up when they come in there (in regard to the claims Embiid has been dirty at times).

Think that's just a result of driving vs jump shots. Fouls were 12-16, so not a huge discrepancy.

I watched and thought the officiating was about as good as it could be. If the refs wanted to give LeBron a lifeline they could have called a foul on the last second half court shot by Prince, because there was contact on the body.

I am glad the refs let the players decide the game.

The 6er's look like shit so far in the first half, nothing's working.
