Sure. He can. But scoring is not one of his strong suits. He's option 4 or 5 on that team, at best.

I did think this clip was kind of a shot at Gobert. "The defensive POY" and then everyone giggles because a lot of players don't respect him as the best defensive player because of his struggles when he's put in pick and rolls.

I actually think Minny is a fairly well built team. They're just a few years away. Although in a few years they'll need a replacement for Conley. This is just a bad matchup for them. Denver is better than Dallas, but Minny matches up better with Denver shockingly.

They were talking about it last night.
No he’s not the ideal player to defend a guard on the perimeter but he’s still better than your average guard.
He’s DPOY because he dominates everything inside the arc and does decent on the perimeter.
It’s because he’s French and has been outspoken and did the thing right before Covid that he gets shit.
And I think he could be a better option to score if he got the ball more—just my opinion watching him and seeing the rest of the team chuck and brick.

"Few years away" from what exactly? Winning a championship? Maybe, but there are really damn close right now.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 9:14 am I did think this clip was kind of a shot at Gobert. This team swept Durant, Booker, and Beal (and Allen, Gordon, Nurkic). Then beat the defending Champions and the NBA MVP, and is now playing in the Western Finals and lost games 1 and 2 by a combined 4 points and were tied going in to the 4th quarter of game 3.

Edwards just needs to improve to really be their alpha. KAT is not that guy.
That period of 5 minutes in the 3rd where Ant went off—they need that consistently. He’s young, he should be a top 5 player within the next couple years.
They’ll need a Conley replacement but that won’t be crazy hard to find.

If you ranked all the NBA teams when healthy, where would Minny fall?
I do not think they're a top 5 team.

He just takes a lot of bad shots. When he gets hot and they start going in at a high rate, he's unstoppable. He needs to improve his shooting. He needs his ability to get easy baskets instead of always being level 10 difficulty.
He's awesome. He's 22. He's going to be one of the best in the world soon. But to win championships, and not just rack up all stars and all NBAs, he's got a ways to go.

Is it time for Indiana to quit, yet?

I think Indy takes this and Boston wins the next one.

Shocked that wasn't a flagrant. Definitely not intentional, but above the shoulders. Figured the hard fall would also factor in, even though it shouldn't.
