No doubt. As announcers were perplexed by why Self hadn’t pulled starters with 7 min left, all I could think to myself was, ‘Because he’s trying to build confidence at the end of games bc we have sucked all year!’

I told a buddy the same thing. That said, I still disagreed with playing Dedric and Dotson for their last stretch. It's nice to teach them to close games, but that reward pales in comparison to a blown wheel for Dotson. The whole thing would be over in an instant.
