Started watching the game when it was 21-19 MSU. It quickly went to 30-21 Duke, so I took a walk to get a hair cut. I look down at my phone when my cut was done and was very pleased.

@PortlandHawk -- you got your wish. :D

That's too bad.

Cuz everyone knows the Empire was right.

Duke has been the number one Love-To-Hate team for years now.

In part cuz of espn’s disproportionate knob slobbing.

In part cuz of how many casual fans jump on the bandwagon. “I really only pay attention to March Madness, but OMG I am a yuge duke fan! Just don’t ask me to name anyone on their team.”

In part, perhaps most significantly, because fuck Duke.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

UK, UNC and Duke all going down in one weekend. I consider that my birthday present. Let the good times roll.

Is there going to be a channel or feed where I can watch Zion watch the final four?

I am sure this has been mentioned, but: hot damn I love Duke getting screwed in the end by having not had enough fouls called against them.

Some national writer (Maybe Rothstein) mentioned that the margin of victory in the 4 games was a combined 16 points. Lowest in Elite 8 history.

And the games proved that.

For how much the first 2 round games were duds, this past weekend more than made up for it. Some high quality games!

High quality of games because of the lack of upsets on the first two days of the tourney. This weekend we generally saw the best teams from throughout the year.

Yeah that's my point. The mayhem of the first weekend was non-existent because of the lack of upsets. But because of that quality of the 2nd weekend was the best we've maybe ever seen.

I thought Duke was the best team going into the tournament, but considering they had three straight games decided by 2 points or less, maybe they weren't as good as I thought.

Maybe. Or maybe the best team doesn't always win in single elimination tournaments.

I still think duke is probably the best team.

I know for sure I don't think Auburn TT Mich St or Virginia are the best teams in the country.

Then you haven’t paid attention to UVA. Granted, I’ve been on UVAs bandwagon all year, but they’ve had 3 losses all year. 2 to Duke. By a combined 12 points. Haven’t been below 6th ranked team all year. 2nd best offense and 5th best defensive according to KenPom.

They’re style is boring, I get it. But defense is important, and they can shoot. Their 2 best guys finally did well on offense during the tournament against Purdue.

They are one of the best teams in the country. And anyone who says otherwise doesn’t get it.
