I see him as the best player in the league right now. But, I'm less sure on that than I am certain that he has the highest trade value in the league.

Which is all to say that the distinction doesn't matter much right now--it's rather inevitable. Reminds me a lot of LeBron's early seasons in Cleveland when Kobe/Shaq/Duncan/Garnett were still playing.
