Do storms in the area make for more exciting games?
I say yes.
For all sports. Far more so the sports in open air. You feel it.

Well, I wanted to ignore what the hot takes were saying at half, but it's true, we had them by the throat, and they've adjusted, and we're struggling.

Can we talk about how good Pulisic is for an American player?

He’s really freaking good. Still only 20. He’ll be the best American player when all said and done I believe.

What lazy defending for US.
Do we have a good defender on the team?
I don't count Ream.

Except, of course that big bad man scheduled 3 finals on the day and that is giving cause to be angry over women’s rights.

This is another narrative that has become stale.

If the crowd is really 80% Mexican fans, that’s sad.

And you can hear them screaming out “puto” when our goalie kicks it.

Faking injury delay tactics at its best.

Crowd very well may have been 80% Mexican - fans. Watched people migrating (poor choice of words?) to Soldier Field all day yesterday and saw very few wearing USA gear. I'm shocked Trump didn't have an abundance of ICE "agents" at the game. Could have had a major haul - for the Mexicans (Mexican Americans?) who were not scared away.

So happy I didn't pay $500 (or more for a decent seat - which is what they were selling for) to go watch that USA shit on a too late Sunday evening.

Did you watch Paul1?
The US were the better team in the first half.
The Mexicans the better team in the second.

US had four or five good chances - Pusilic's shot in the 5th, Altidore 1 on 1 blew it in the 12th, Arriola just missed wide, Morris had a goal cleared off the line, McKennie's shot was blocked by a Mexican players arm ( though he had his arms behind his back ).

I don't think we showed as well as we should have but it was a close match.
Maybe if the US fans could have packed the house, things would have gone differently.

That US team that showed up in the first half needs to be there every game. Should have been up 2-0 in the first half.

2nd half they just ran out of gas and Mexico was just better in 2nd half.

But this is the US team I want to see. Get Pulisic the ball in space, throw the ball to McKennie in the flank and let him go to work. Let Zardes and Altidore hold the ball against the backline and make passes to open players who are streaking open.

They did a good job all tournament doing just that. Very respectable showing after a couple of blah games against Curacao and Jamaica.

But Bradley has to be gone. They have to figure out someone to get that CDM role on lock other than him before WC Qualifying.
