Could be a nice pick up for the Lakers. Hachimura hasn't played as much this year with Kuzma and Kristaps healthy, but he has shown the ability to put up some decent numbers when he gets clock.

I truly feel bad for the kid. I paid up to sit behind the Lakers bench Kobe's last season and he not only didn't play but wasn't even on the bench. Shit happens.
Question is, what if anything will/can Silver do about it?

You can't make athletes play when they are injured or sick.

Sorry kid. That's life.

Basketball is a team sport. Each player won't play every night. Players get hurt. Players get sick. Players miss games for personal reasons.

We aren't entitled to see any player play on any given night.

If I go to a Pelicans game I want to see Devonte play. What can Adam Silver do to make sure he gets more minutes when I am in attendance?

Right, you can't (or at least shouldn't) make them play if they are injured or sick or personal reasons.
Allegedly Butler was injured during warmups last night.

I have mixed feelings on if a player should play (or not play) simply because they want to take a night/day off. While no doubt playing takes toll on a body - as well as travel, these guys do get "off days" during the season.

That's like someone saying since you get Saturday and Sunday off you aren't allowed to miss work during the week.

Yep, maybe it's my imagination but I seem to recall there are/were some people on here who said they hate Butler, he's a douche bag, he is/was a bad guy, etc.? Or are they going to claim they only said they feel he's a bad teammate?

LeBron does everything he can but the Celtics are too good and Westbrook sucks too much.

Not sure I agree. Golden State has been just as much of one imo. There have been a few different ones during different parts of his 20 year career.

When the Celtics had KG and PP, yes. Now that the Celtics are really good again, LeBron is in the west and they'll never see each other because LAL won't get out of the 1st or 2nd round (at best).

A bad foul call and a bad no foul call at the end of regulation didn't help LeBron. Then start OT with this...

On another note, the Celtics have looked inconsistent since Smart got hurt. They need him back.

The NBA proved last night that the refs do in fact AT TIMES negatively control the outcome of games.
Nothing worse for me as a fan vesting a few hours of my time watching a great game being played by elite players and then the refs having as much if not more of a bearing on the final score than the players do.
As far as pdub's obsession with hating on Westbrook, obviously it's his prerogative but I wonder if he/you (if you're reading this pdub) feel that the majority of this month he's helped the Lakers a lot more than he's hurt them. My guess is the Grizz, 76ers, Mavs, Nuggs, Kings, Rockets, Hawks, and Heat players and coaches probably feel/know Russ doesn't suck.

Pat Bev is hilarious.

Here is another one from the other night against Portland when it was supposed to be "Dame time".

Watch must be broken...

Yeah, seems Dame going off for 41 and owning Beverly and the Lakers the game before may have still haunted/bothered him.

During the 2016/2017 season the Lakers were 16-34 on January 29th and were the 14th seed. Today they are 23-27 and are the 13th seed.
I'm dumb enough to believe they still have a chance to play in the Western Finals in 2023.

Lebron last night a little bit of a microcosm of him as a player throughout his career. Great player, not very likable as a player.

I like him a lot, but yes, he (like many/most competive athletes) can come off as a whiny bitch in those interviews immediately after something like that happens.

Even if he is right about whatever he's talking about.
