At this point, it’s anyone but UConn.

Honestly I think this final 4 is gonna be really good. 4, 5, 5, and 9 seeds. No blue bloods or stars really, just a bunch of teams that play good team basketball

This Final Four is the result of giving players an extra year(s) of eligibility and allowing dudes to transfer at free-will.

The semi-pro COVID rules with scads of Morningstars landed four Hickories. I haven't watched. Gorgeous weather

The Texas loss cost me a buncha $. Like at least a half a month's rent.
F*CK Hook 'Em!
Now I have to root for Miami to beat UConn if I want ANY $.

Meanwhile, a lot of people felt transfer rules and NIL $ would mean the mighty would get mightier.

I think that will ultimately be the result, but this year you have a bunch of "smaller" schools with 23, 24, and some 25 year-olds on their basketball roster.

Calling that foul on Creighton after SDSU was fouling on every damn possession is criminal.

You are hardly alone in thinking that. My worthless opinion is it was a foul and ALL fouls should be called - and they didn't call other fouls that they should have.

On the Texas vs Miami game - both of those teams' mid-range game was a thing of beauty. Very difficult to defend the drive and pull-up plus very high percentage shot. More teams should use it more often.

Analytics would say otherwise

Someone on here claimed the Big 12 was the best conference this season - by far.
Maybe so but.....

Favored WVU lost to Maryland (Big 10 school)
Favored Baylor lost to Creighton (Big East school)
Favored KSU lost to FAU (C-USA school)
Favored ISU lost to Pittsburgh (ACC school)
Favored Texas lost to Miami (ACC school)
Favored Kansas lost to Arkansas (SEC school)
Underdog TCU lost to Gonzaga (WCC school)

2 schools in the Elite 8 and one may have been robbed of a Final Four with some wild reverse call with 40 seconds left in the game ( but i'm glad they were ).

I analyzed this particular game with my eyes. Maybe analytics, which you didn't quote by the way, don't take into account the fact that players don't devote a lot of their time to practicing the mid-range game.
