Other than the speeches of Hitler, Trump never seems to have read anything or committed anything to memory. Born rich, he has basically lost billions of other people's money. The rich are not like you and me. They fail at our expense and skirt laws. Intellect is a commodity they purchase along with friends. Not a satisfying life for those with a brain or conscience. Some escape. Then there is the Trump. Neither a brain nor a conscience and gold toilets upon which to hold court.

I think it’s more likely than not that Trump ended up there BECAUSE he’s not intelligent.

Trump’s superpower is his shamelessness. It has served him well. I, for one, am glad the bill is coming due while he’s still around to finally have to pay it.

He's not intelligent. He's smart. There's a difference.

He also has no morals so he's willing to do things that guide him through all of the loopholes and allows him to succeed.

I will never understand why military members support this scumbag other than "I support Republicans no matter what".

Trump is intelligent the same way Wile E. Coyote is intelligent. Has anything Trump touched not turned into a disaster?

Because he has figured out how to leverage what he is good at (being repulsive and willing to say and do what those with morals will not) to get what he wants.
