Can't. Would've had to be a sign and trade, I believe.

Otherwise there is a waiting period from when someone signing a new contract can be traded

So the Lakers are all, let’s just kinda bring it all back and hope some Miami scrub will be the difference.

Jeff Van Gundy out as part of ESPN layoffs. That really sucks. Him and Mark Jackson are the epitome of on-air chemistry

Aw man.
Van Gundy was great.
Can TNT nab him?

Also in the cuts, when it comes to CBB, was LaPhonso Ellis, who is take it or leave it.

The Lakers acquired more than just Vincent - who is hardly a "scrub".
Dude had 42 points in the first two games against Denver in the Finals.
Dude had 29 points in game 3 against Boston.
Dude had 41 points in the first two games against the Knicks.
Dude had games of 22, 16, and 15 against the Bucks.

The Lakers also added Prince, Reddish, and Hayes.
The Lakers were a Nuggets team away from being in the Finals - and probably winning a Championship.
The Nuggets somehow falter and the Lakers somehow stay healthy, the Lakers may have as good of a shot as anyone else to win the Championship.

On another note....
While the Suns have a heck of a roster, I'm not too sure how they plan to match up with the Nuggets and Lakers. How do the Suns defend them? I guess the theory is all you have to do is score more points than your opponent to win. Is the average score of Suns games going to be 140-135?

Lakers kept making moves.
I like the other dudes including resigning Rui.
Vincent got hot in the playoffs but he’s a 33 percent 3 point shooter.

This is treading into NBA 23-24 season territory, but don’t sleep on the Kings, either, Gutter

No. Needs to be in the NBA now, and it should count as a personal foul.

The referees stopped calling it halfway through the college season last year. That pissed me off.

They should have fired Mark Jackson, he is terrible.

Didn't KU make Dukie Cam Reddish cry in the EE game?

Do you not feel he is terrible? If so, ok.
Not saying you're wrong but my guess is your opinion would be in the minority.

On another note.....

Och had 17 points 9 rebounds in his first Summer League game.

Mark Jackson is like a sluggish Jalen Rose. Too many tag lines and shticks and he too frequently wanders off into conversations that don't involve what is going on or the players/teams that are playing. I just don't personally enjoy his style.

I can generally only listen to about 3 minutes of him calling a game. I'd suspect I'd be entertained hearing about his life/shenanigans for about as long.

Dude is trade bait. This just increased his trade value - if an NBA team is looking for a guy who can do well in celebrity/charity softball games.

Celtics pay a guy who might not be a top 20 player the richest contract in NBA history.

Jeez Brad, what is happening?
