No way KU doesn't have at least a .006% chance to win the Big 12.

Having what seems like a competent AD, the first since arguably Frederick, is fun.

Booker is taking Chris Freet’s job. I’ve been hearing about Booker since I moved back to KS so good for him.

Way better than Freet. Freet was a Long puppet.

He’s got some name recognition.

*Whispers*

I would love to have a Gameball over what we had the last 10 years.

We've won 18 games in the past 10 years. Allen had 21 wins in 5.

I witnessed Gameball every home Saturday. Every game, the team got worse. When Mason’s players graduated, the wheels fell off. Gameball gave me a nervous tic.

Worse, when it became unbearable, old timers from the 40s and 50s told Frederick to go back upstairs when Frederick would come down to the doner section to glad hand.

Thank God for the Crushed Dove. True tailgating (I had epics where the practice fields are now) and Mangino.

Hopefully, things will change. I gave it all up, points and everything, 4 years ago.

I was there for the end of Gameball and the start of Mangino.
I remember being so psyched that we made it to a bowl game, some Texas bowl v ... Houston?

First one was actually against Phillip Rivers and NC State in 2003. Rivers just demolished KU.

Mangino was 2-10 in 2002 and then 6-7 in 2003. Still a minor miracle. Then he got a bit power hungry because he had success and shit went off the rails.

Oh yea, duh.
I watched that game at Bambinos on mass across from Dillons.
RIP.

When Bob Frederick wasn't taking Football advice from Roy Williams, he hired Glen Mason (after Valesente's debacle got Monte Johnson fired). Essentially, Roy Williams hired Gameball (via BF) based on recommendation from Roy's BBall coaching pal at UNI.

Thanks, Roy

So if Cornell Wheeler transfers to KU fairly soon, would he be eligible for this upcoming season?

Wheeler to Kansas. LB is probably our biggest position of need so getting him in certainly can't hurt.

Former 4*. Never saw the field at Michigan. Should be an immediate upgrade to a room that has only Potter and Chanel returning.

It would be interesting to hear his story on how he ever considered a football program like Kansas, let alone actually transferring there.
