Depends when! I'd give the "two minutes, well worth it" response to this coming midway through the first half (provided we're not getting blown out already of course).

the number of missed layups was more alarming than the missed 3s.

Gotta hope that this being the third game in three days means it doesn't really represent this team very well.

Not often does Dotson, Garrett and Lawson just brick shots from 5 feet in.

Think fatigue was a factor.

Good thing is, it is now 2-game tournaments from here on out.

Right, with a day of prep and rest between games.

I don't think the conference tourneys are great indicators of NCAA tournament success, so I won't put too much on the fact that we looked like absolute dog shit on Saturday.

No but we do look like dogshit about every 3rd game. So hopefully we can get through the first weekend and really be playing loose with total house money.

Well let's hope Bill learned his lesson from Saturday.

You can lose a game in the first half.

If we're playing Auburn, I think the start of the game will be VERY important.

They seem to either blow their opponents out or get blown out. That seems like a game that may be decided by halftime...or maybe by the 10 minute mark in the first half.

Any game is important. Especially the first game against Northeastern.

If they get any confidence, they could be tough to stop. On top of that, a lot of their players are really good FT shooters. 80% and up.

Yeah he mad a bad move in sitting Dotson against a team that doesn't drive the ball. Chances of Dotson picking up his 3rd foul in that first half was slim-to-none.

But I think Bill goes all out this weekend. He knows he can't afford to rest any guys or sit them in the first half if they get a couple of fouls. Or if he does sit them, let it be for only a few minutes and not an extended amount of time.

The Northeastern game is going to be one where we're glad DMac is in the fold now.

We'll sleepwalk to a 9ish point win.

As bad as he was Saturday, I think Garrett will be able to do well v Northeastern.

Yeah it'll be somewhere around there.

They are good at shooting the 3, but really bad at defense and rebounding. KU should be able to cruise to a fairly easy win.

Dotson should have a big game as they shouldn't keep him in front of them. Garrett will get a lot of playing time. As they go 6'1, 6'1, 6'5 and 6'5 at the guard spots.

Yeah he won't go 2-12 again. He's finally got the confidence in his ankle back.

Of course. It just seems like IF we play Auburn the likelihood of knowing the outcome of the game very early seems much higher. As opposed to NMSU who we already played and only won by 3, so the game wasn't decided until the very end.

Ochai makes his 1st top 3 since @ Oklahoma State back at the beginning of this month.
Charlie Moore records a scintillating .074 Crimscore to boost his season to a .115.
