New Orleans is 9-4 since Zion started playing full time unrestricted minutes.

I have a hard time believing, that all things considered, JR Smith is a better option than calling up someone from their G-league team, someone like Wayne Selden for example.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

Seems it's not really a "non-story". One of their most loyal and visible fans is pissed off at the organization and the owner and he's throwing them under the bus.

Because they asked him to use a different door. If that's the sword Spike wants to die on, he's just as stupid as Dolan.

Non-story.

Dolan is so rich that he is just eccentric, not dumb.

I respectfully disagree that it's a "non-story".
Many major news outlets and people associated with the NBA are chiming in so it's a story to/for them.
I explained that Spike Lee is "one of their most loyal and visible fans" and he is giving them a big fuck you. Sure it helps make Spike who he is - an attention whore but I get where he wouldn't be happy with how he was treated. Just as I get why the Knicks security basically said we don't give a fuck who you are - rules are rules.
I'm not taking sides because I feel both Spike and the Knicks handled the situation poorly.
That being said, when a guy has been a season ticket holder for 30 or so years and has literally paid many millions of dollars for his seats to watch a horse shit team play - I feel after the fact maybe the Knicks should be blowing him and not throwing him under the bus. Reflects poorly on them when they could have come out looking good instead.
Oh well, on to other stories - and non stories.

Good for him. If to were to get to that point, the NBA should fold up shop. If it's not safe for the fans and players to have fans in the stands, then it's probably not safe for the players to play game - period.
It's 100% safe for them to travel on planes, buses, etc. - that may contaminated? It's 100% safe for them to stay in hotels - that may be contaminated? It's 100% safe for them to be in locker rooms - that may be contaminated? So many factors go in to playing a NBA game that there is NO WAY the NBA can assure the players that they are not at risk playing games.

it’s much easier to contain monitor a couple of teams than it would be a few thousand fans...his comments had nothing to do with risk, but were more about playing for the fans. if there were no fans in the stands, he wouldn’t play
