There's always soil judging.

You ridicule.
KSU soil judges are probably more valuable to society (as soil judgers) than I ever was while being a student at KU.
How about you?

Plus, I hear soil judges get much pussy and/or dick!

understanding soil composition and being able to determine its best uses is actually a pretty useful skill...I wish I was better at it

my pop’s Masters is in soils

not from statie, from misery

and TDub is correct, it’s an incredibly valuable tool. soil is very much an under appreciated aspect of our environment

My pop's phD is in Geochemistry and works a lot with soil.
This is a football bored, on a sports bored, so when 99 says there's always soil judging, it's very justifiably a put down to ksu.

I wonder how many on the board remember the classic K-State joke from the 70s:

A KSU grad bought a poultry farm and promptly went into business. In the spring he planted his first crop of chickens. Feet down.
After they died, he planted an early summer crop head down. After they all died, he rotated the crop but carefully alternated the planting, some feet down, some head down. When they died as hastily as his first crops, he finally sought assistance from the KSU Dean of agriculture. Hearing the situation, the dean shook his head slowly and said "Well son, we better take a soil sample."

Got a buddy who is a KSU grad & mid-level booster, same with almost all of his family (they're just grads)...they want Klieman gone yesterday. I don't get it.

Kind of a Norm Macdonald lengthen the premise thing. Doesn't translate well reading it. But was the origin of soil judging.

Old man Bill spoiled em.
7-5, 8-4 is probably the best you’ll get now, which is pretty darn good.

Kansas has the great misfortune of being one of the few small states where there is a little brother rival diluting the talent pool. KU has been the unfortunate victim in the Old Balls era. KSU turned the tables and put a heel on the throat of recruiting. Leaving the conference that has KSU in it will make a lot of sense on that level.

Right on cue!
I'm not doing my worthless predictions today - because they are worthless predictions.

There is not a single game I would feel confident betting today but if I had to pick one I would go with
OKST+7 vs Iowa State.
Which means Iowa State will cover because I suck at "predictions".

Coastal took an L the other day. Might have been the best thing that could happen to them because I don't think they would have been one of the 4 BCS Playoff teams even if they were undefeated. Now for sure they won't be so they don't have to worry about it.

That call was bad. Big 12 refs struggled big time.
