This wasn't a Tim Duncan scenario where the guy was just ignoring the lottery year after year.
I get it. I'm just saying our program is among the last that should mourn the death of 3-4 players.

We're also just scratching the surface of what can be accomplished by NIL if handled appropriately.
Yeah, that was more in response to randy.

OAD and NIL are absolute boons for KUBB.

randylahey wrote: Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:43 am Collison, lafrentz, gooden, and pierce were also nba lotto talents that stayed in college for 3/4 years. And you dont see that now.

The golden age of college is over. Its just a pit stop for guys before they go pro. A guy like ochai is rare, a next level talent who sticks around 4 years and leaves his mark on a program
I mean, fine, but...

Rush
Cole
Morris
Morris
Robinson
Agbaji

All at least three years.
And i would consider that whole group better players than sherron. Theres a reason they all went pro and he didn't. But better players and better career numbers are 2 different things

But like I said I'm not sure if sherron was ever even the best player on any of his teams. Cole Aldrich was really really good even as a sophomore

I came up with an advanced metric this morning that ranks the best players since Danny.

Thoughts?

51.0 - Danny Manning
43.9 - Frank Mason
41.7 - Sherron Collins
40.3 - Devonte' Graham
39.6 - Nick Collison
37.6 - Kirk Hinrich
36.6 - Raef LaFrentz
29.6 - Ochai Agbaji
29.0 - Wayne Simien
29.0 - Paul Pierce
27.3 - Brandon Rush
27.0 - Mario Chalmers
25.9 - Drew Gooden
24.6 - Marcus Morris
20.9 - Cole Aldrich
20.8 - Thomas Robinson
18.7 - Markieff Morris

No way is Hinrich 37.6, much closer to 36.3.

That is a real metric and it aligns very well with a certain set of posters here.

No way Markieff is only 18.7.

I can’t even imagine how bad that ‘11 team would be without both Morriseses to lead, and having to instead rely that much more on our pair of cute little western ks BofH’s on the wing.

I give this post an orange.12, reduced for hexagonicity.

What’s Face Ass’s metric then, and is it at all affected by the length of his sleeves?

Kirk over Raef is silly.
Chalmers over Gooden is silly.
Sherron over Collison is silly.

Try again.

I mean, that's not bad honestly.
I'd have Gooden a decent amount higher, Marcus a bit higher and Collins a touch lower but it's not egregious.

Though I'm not sure Kief makes the list over say Tyshawn or Perry.

You just have to let me know how you want added to the list bud!

Ellis 38.2
Taylor 36.4

Both slide right between Hinrich and Simien
