That was an offensive foul.

Eh, it's a push off if anything, not a flagrant.

Has a 4 year player ever shown less improvement from Freshman to Sr. year than Brady Manek?

Like I don't think it was a big deal, but the application of the rules is so inconsistent.

It is "illegal, non-excessive contact with an opponent above the shoulders." Suggs put his forearm right in the guy's chin.

It might seem like Gonzaga is benefitting from a strange year in college hoops. Some of the best players in the 2020 recruiting class bypassed college entirely to play in the G League. Duke and Kentucky missed out on the NCAA tournament for the first time in forever; other powerhouses like Kansas and Michigan State are having down years as well. But maybe Gonzaga isn’t simply benefiting from the shortcomings of the traditional blue bloods. With star prospects like Suggs picking them over these schools, the Zags are also contributing to the changing power dynamic of the sport.
MICHIGAN STATE WAS AN 11-SEED! WE WERE A 3-SEED!
How did we get dragged into that trope but UNC, who was an 8 seed and also lost their opening round game, has managed to avoid it?
It's absurd. And it's always been like this.

I understand that I wear particular-shaded glasses, but I feel that all three of these things are true: (1) our March history is really not worse than anyone else's, and yet we're regarded as worse; (2) people dramatically underestimate the magnitude of what we've been in the regular season under Bill (all peak, no valley); and (3) over the period of time Bill has been here, there isn't a better program, all things considered.

The notion that Izzo is some kind of March wizard and Bill a complete March chump is absurd.

OU pissed down their legs. Just don't know how to handle pressure or get back on D.

Our streak of being a four or better can buy beer for tonight's game.

Gonzaga Outgrew Its Crystal Slipper. Now It’s the Best Program in College Hoops.

Once seen as a lovable underdog, Gonzaga has transformed into college basketball’s model program. Is this the NCAA tournament the Zags finally win it all?

No, absolutely not. Fuck and no.
I didn't read the article.
What are you saying, "No, absolutely not. Fuck and no" in regards to?
That you don't believe Gonzaga is the best program in college basketball today?
Hard for me to argue they're not.
That you don't feel Gonzaga has transformed into college basketball’s model program?
Hard for me to argue they haven't.
That you don't feel this is the tournament they win it all?
Hard for me to argue they won't.

To me, "program" means something more than "team." They just don't get to sit at that table, when they play 20+ cupcake games year-in, year-out.

At the same time in history, Bill's conference streak was longer in an embarrassingly better conference.

Since 2010, Gonzaga has been a 7 seed, an 8 seed twice, and an 11 seed twice. That would get Bill fired.

Bill has one more Final Four since 2010.

The article is absurd.

Ok, but are we talking about right now, this season, or past seasons and future seasons?
As far as playing cupcake games (or tough steak games) during the season, I look at the most recent SOS and notice how playing a tough schedule doesn't mean jack shit once the tournament starts.

Gonzaga plays dirty. If I’m Bill Self, I will pick a 5 foul reserve enforcer like Norm Stewart did and equalize matters. The elbows to the throat and face need to stop.
