not really
Yes, we are. We don't normally miss 100 layups per game.
We do get blown out often, though...
I'm in denial on that. We are better than the clones

This roster as it is currently comprised has beat exactly one tourney caliber team away from AFH, TCU. And we needed OT to do it.

Based on what? Our play at AFH isn't what this team really is.

As I told DC, we don't usually miss 100 layups per game

Team was so frustrating this season, but losing Dok, Vic, and then all the frosh starting, playing the toughest schedule in the country, it was a hell of a coaching job to go 25 and 9, and I'm proud the way our guys fought. If most everyone stays, this team will be damn good next year...and who knows, maybe we make an unexpected run in the tourney...this year!

so regarding how we closed the first half, and how they went on a run with Dotson out and Moore in...

whatever happened to Marcus Garrett as backup point guard?

I support any personnel move that keeps charlie moore off the court.

One handed Dok is a better option for backup PG.

Did you guys see that fadeaway jumper just angled off the baseline that he just rimmed out tho?

We want/need Dotson playing 39-40 minutes for every game we're still in it.

Think if Dotson ever has to sit. Grimes should become the primary ball handler.

If Dotson sits, lineup should be..
PG - Grimes
SG - Garrett
SF - KJ
PF - D Lawson
C - Lightfoot/Big Dave

So in other words...

Dotson should not sit from here on out.

Edit: Completely forgot about Ochai. Maybe because right now, I don't think he should see much time..

at this point I'm cool with Grimes and Garrett as backup lead guard by committee.

how often has KJ really played with 2 other bigs on the floor?

I'd also be cool with Agbaji at sf.

Yeah forgot about Ochai.

He could be out there. But of note... Moore and Ochai have both shot 72 3's this year. Ochai has made only 22, Moore has made 20.

Ochai's 5 rebounds per game are nice. But he HAS to score.

From Dedric, D-Mac, and Dotson the drop off is pretty big. Really Dedric or Dotson. One of those two have an off night or get in foul trouble this team is done. A whole lot of unfilled potential (Grimes, Agbaji) and then guys are who complimentary pieces but they can't shoot (Moore, Garrett).
