One of those rare times when "affect" is used incorrectly as a noun, but it might actually work.

I blame the fact that the KU basketball players are going home for Christmas on the Chi-Os. Had they stayed on campus, so would have the basketball team.

Keyontae Johnson "collapsed" on the court, was taken away on a stretcher, players understandably visibly shaken, and FSU/FLA play/s/ed on. I mean, WTF?

UK has 49 points with 5 minutes left in the 2nd half.
ND isn't any better.
Defense. Rebounds.

If one were to simply look at records/standings, Kansas State now has more wins than Kentucky.
Same amount as Duke.

In awful news, MIZZOU might be pretty good. They’ve beaten Oregon and just upset Illinois and are 5-0.

Irrelevant to your point because Missouri was still ahead when it happened, but Illinois got absolutely robbed with that flagrant foul called on Cockburn with less than a minute left.

I don't know.
All depends on what team you were rooting for. I didn't watch the game but would have been rooting for Mizzou - and would have absolutely thought something should have been called.

I watched the Keyontae Johnson video of him collapsing. It's really bad. Not going to share it on here.
Not only does it look as if his heart or brain may have just given out on him but his head smashed on the court too.
If anyone wants to view it - go to Matt Wallace @MattWallace888 on Twitter.
I'm not a thoughts and prayers kind of guy but if I was, my thoughts and prayers would go out to him and his family. Sure hope he's going to be ok.

P.S. Pearl may be an asshole but this was a "class" move by him.

Odds EVERY team will be put on pause at some point in the near future? I say 32.5% chance.

Yo Iowa and Zags play each other on Saturday. That’s a massive matchup.

So, if I grab your hand and hit myself in the face with it, that's a flagrant foul on you? Got it.

If they called a foul on the play, that's one thing. They can go to replay and reverse the flagrant to a common foul and play on. The fact it was a no call on the floor, then went to replay and came away with that conclusion is just crazy.

Interesting. You and I are looking at the exact same thing but we are seeing something different.
I'm not seeing Smith grabbing Cockburn's hand and hitting himself in the face with it. Apparently neither did the refs.
Hey, I don't think it was "intentional" and I'm not sure it warranted a flagrant 1 - despite Smith being hit in the face - but the refs went to replay and came to that conclusion so like me, they saw something different than you did too.
I'm wondering if our interpretations have anything to do with who we preferred won the game.
I wanted Mizzou to win. Did you want Illinois or Missouri to win?
