I don't get why they can't still have the tournament without fans.
If the tournament is cancelled, it's over reaction to the absolute degree.

My lovely non sports fan fiancée after Gobert was positive: why would the nba care about a jazz player?

I have a 2 week old. We are still trying to go about living our lives as normal as possible... We just went out to eat dinner tonight, and kept him under wraps in his infant car seat just like any parent would do regardless the situation. It’s a little scary, but I do think it’s overblown.

Maybe, just maybe, they'll suspend rather than cancel.
Even then is overreaction city.

They can still have the tournament but if Emmert was truly sincere with his statement today, then he really should cancel the tournament.
It's overreaction to you and I but probably not to the person/people who get the virus and possibly (all-be-it highly doubtfully) die because of it - and the person/people who will fairly or unfairly ultimately be held accountable for it.

Again, people die from endless amount of things every day.
This is just another one of them.
You can't put yourself in a bubble and not drive to work because you are nervous about dying.

For some it’s just sports. For others it a reprieve from daily life. It’s been recovery for many.

For some, it’s just sports. To others, it’s needed.

Some real simple minded fools on this board.

I don’t need to guess that it has hit closer to me than anyone here. And the range of foolishness is wide.

I agree and fuck anyone who may have known Fred was ill and let him coach the game.
Not sure why the shit (Big 10 Tourney game) wasn't stopped immediately after this episode.
I know - I'm overreacting. Maybe. Maybe not. Depends which board experts care to chime in.
