We just went out to eat dinner tonight, and kept him under wraps in his infant car seat just like any parent would do regardless the situation. It’s a little scary, but I do think it’s overblown.
Congrats, and - for what it's worth - children (even infants) seem to only very, very rarely become symptomatic.

I was all for no fans and letting players play, but I think in 6 days, a lot is going to change.
In the other thread, I said Italy is a time machine showing us two weeks into the future.

I was off by a week:

Just using the sentiment from this chart (and your post) to agree that the tournament is not going to happen.

Although, my god, at this point the NCAA should hold Viacom/Turner Sports over a barrel and get them to cover costs. I'd imagine ad time, particularly daytime TV ad time, just skyrocketed in value.

OK - considering all the mass hysteria and perhaps the inevitable - can we instead follow the college football playbook and have the top 4 NET teams play in a weekend tournament with no fans?

1 Gonzaga ( errr OK )
2 Kansas ( unanimous no. 1 in AP )
3 Dayton ( rematch! )
4 San Diego State ( errr OK )

This is the finest idea you've ever had, including starting this stupid website.

Brilliant. Lets do it right now. Cancel the conference tourneys and make it happen before they cancel everything.

That chart is interesting and all, but you need to look at it with a little context. That's a raw number of cases graph. Italy has 60 million people. USA has 330 million.

You also have to look at the actual testing. As of Monday, 5 out of a million people were tested in the US. In Italy, 826, 165 times* more tested.

https://www.sciencealert.com/here-s-how ... -completed

As of Weds, it was 15 per million in the US. In Italy, they just shut the whole fucking country down.

*had 130 before, my coffee hadn't kicked in.

March Madness may be the hope that the people need when they are closed off in their living rooms getting busy dying ( not a joke for people dying but rather a fear of living - for those who will misconstrue ).

Yep. On both counts.
