Travis Releford was in that comparison. That doesn’t work for me.

Rush isn’t that great a comparison in my opinion. Rush was definitely more athletic and a better defender from the start. Both of em shoot threes and both aren’t particularly strong at getting to the rack. But Rush was 1st team All B12 his freshman year and coulda bounced for the draft after his sophomore season if not for injury. I don’t see Braun going pro after next year.

LOL @ Braun being an early entrant into the NBA Draft. He's going to be a fantastic college player at Kansas, enjoy it.

Listed at 6'5 175lbs....probably truly closer to 6'3ish? He will need to develop PG skills to have enough appeal as a legit NBA prospect that would need to leave school early. Even Svi stayed 4 years. Some vastly underestimate how hard it is to play in the NBA.

I look forward to a few all big 12 selections from Braun and a memorable senior night speech.

What the heck? In fact I think the point made was he is not a match for Rush or the NBA. The NBA is a shooter’s league though. Some Braun-like guys from Villanova are on rosters right now.
