Good highlight of the goal tending tthat wasn't called too. Looked exciting.

Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Lack of depth and poor shooting going to be a problem all season.
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Shooters. Lacking .
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
The bad news is that Tennessee plays the same way.
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Refs are awful though. Even in garbage time
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Smart taking out players one at a time like senior night.
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Smart is still a punk and I'm getting sick of hearing how much of a "genius" he is.

Re: Maui Invitational 2023
A learning experience. Giant target on backs means you get punked and have to punk back. It is not a genius thing playing a pack-in zone against a weak shooting team playing thru bigs.

Re: Maui Invitational 2023
Never cared for the #1 ranking this early in the season. Lacking players who can make shots. Bench is anemic. Will see how they respond to Tennessee.
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
November ratings are like Smart's national championships. Never spike the ball.Back2Lawrence wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 11:59 pmWell, beating a number one is an ok reason to recognize your players for a second.
Do we get back to #1 this year?
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
One thing that's fixable is rebounding. Rebounding is a mind-set and we don't have that.

Re: Maui Invitational 2023
KU seems to always lose one of these in November.
Gonna be fine.
Gonna be fine.
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
I want to see better box outs. Also, never ever save the ball blindly. A couple of runouts a night playing 4 on five breaks. And Self needs to work the refs. The refs were on some type of major depressant drug. They were watching another game in their minds
Re: Maui Invitational 2023
So true. Except in the early Roy era. And Roy never acted like we had won the National championship when he beat Tark and co.Overlander wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 12:07 am KU seems to always lose one of these in November.

Smart's style of seizure disorder defense steals the joy of the game too. Hoping he retires early to run a Sham Wow startup.
