In a less shitty universe we just why-were-they-even-here’d some poor west coast mid major. Classes are cancelled tomorrow for no reason but.

To be topical...the elongated pain curve of not playing far exceeded the sharp singular pain a loss in the tournament would have caused.
I’m glad the timeline for playing is over.

Although, the narrative of "Kansas would have won the championship" is better than "Kansas chokes away another Final Four."

Yes.
And we can all say that's 'looser mentality' but it's true.
If we had bowed out in the Elite 8 ( or...before?! ) again that woulda been brutal.
Of course you can't make the shots you don't take but in a purely hypothetical scenario, you choose this over an upset loss to 4 seed Creighton in the 3rd game.

I guess he is forgetting that the NBA Draft would have a major bearing on if kids could/would come back and play in the tournament.
Never mind the logistics of the availability of stadiums, travel, the fact that coaches may or may not have new jobs by then, etc., etc., etc.
Someone should send Huggy a video game console and a 2019/2020 NCAA Basketball video game and tell him to play his own tournament and let us know how it went.

Depends on when the NBA draft happens though.
Also, I don't think they make NCAA basketball video games any more.

Sorry guys, I'm not a video game guy. I take it there are no current NCAA Basketball video games.
If so, that blows.
Only game video game I have played in the last 10 years is Madden 10 on PS2.
Go ahead and laugh. I know, that's basically playing Pong on Atari to most of you guys.
