They will be lucky to get 1 win.
I'm going to laugh when they go from 4-1 and finish 8-8 at best.

This is the killer for me. The Bears have a history of being a running team. MANY high quality RB through the years.
If I am not mistaken, they have had a grand total of 4 games where they had someone rush for 100 yards in their last 37 regular season games. 14 of those games no one rushed for 50 yards.

Montgomery was a what, late 2nd round pick?
I think he's played alright.
More yards per carry so far than Derrick Henry, Joe Mixon, Kenyan Drake and Josh Jacobs.

I was looking at Derrick Henry's stiff arm that sent Josh Norman to outer space when I found this.

Here is Derrick Henry's high school senior year game log.

East Gadsden might want to frame that defensive score card.

Right?
Also opening game your running back has 336 yards and 3 TDs and you loose by 23.
Wut?

"ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said free agent RB Le'Veon Bell plans to sign with the Dolphins, Bills, or Chiefs."

Please be one of the first two teams.

Hope he goes to the Bills this week, gets activated, and fumbles on his first carry.

Why not?!? He would be an excellent upgrade at a good price.

Locker room cancer. We’re already the best team in the NFL

What Cascadia said.
He had his entire offensive line pissed off enough to publicly comment about him.

Bell and Mahomes followed each other last night. He then liked a bunch of Chiefs tweets, including one featuring him and Chris Jones from 2019 telling him to sign with Chiefs. And numerous people just said they saw Bell at Quiktrip in KC.

Correction, behind Quiktrip.

Not sure why Chiefs wouldn't be the favorite. And, their front office certainly deserves the benefit of the doubt on every move at this point.

Like Self, I somehow trust Reid with “headcases”. I’d also take the best catching RB out there right now. Unless the summers are the deal breaker.

"I’d also take the best catching RB out there right now."

If you mean active uninjured players, Kareem Hunt.
If you mean active players, Christian McCaffrey.
( also not his twitter account ).

Those guys are signed to teams and not “out there” for taking.

Ah, I see what you're putting down.
He would help - like McCoy did last season - but I don't think it's worth the possible drama.
Reid couldn't handle the Marcus Peters drama - you could put Bell in that category.

Is this an assumption or a fact? I might not mind if he had a problem with Rapist Roethlisberger or Dipshit Brown.

I have zero problem with a guy wanting to get paid. Bell isn't in that position any more and is now likely hungry to prove he is still a good player worthy of being signed for a few more years and would likely be on his best behavior.

I hope KC signs him. CEH isn't getting it done inside the red zone and Bell would help both there and in the passing game with his additional experience.

Are you referring the the Jets offensive line or the Steelers? Of course the Steelers offensive lineman were pissed he held out. I would hope the entire team would be. He was extremely valuable to that team.

Many people bash Bell and some of it is justifiable. Other's heap praise upon him.
A lot depends on what your "agenda" is in discussing Bell.
If I were to say his teammates liked him I might go ahead and post the following comments.

Jets QB Sam Darnold on RB Le’Veon Bell being cut: “I love Le’Veon. I loved having him around.

Joe Flacco on Jets cutting @LeVeonBell:
“Since I've been here, Le'Veon's been a really hard worker. Good teammate.

Breshad Perriman on Bell being cut: "I was kind of shocked. I never anticipated or thought anything like that was coming. Le’Veon’s a great teammate. Wherever he lands, I hope he balls out."

Herndon on Bell’s release: “That was a surprise to all of us. At the end of the day he was a great teammate while he was here ... he was definitely a hard-working person. So I’m sure, just like everybody else, we’re all wishing him the best wherever he ends up.”

Bottom line.... I feel if he is a Chief - people who are Chiefs fans should be happy and embrace him.
Until he does something for Chiefs fans not to be happy nor embrace him.
