Which is sort of the point, right? Watson's possible trajectory was always below Mahomes', but his off-field stuff has now pretty much ended the football chances of him getting to the considerable football legacy he could have had.

I'd say another moral of the story are the rules are just different when you accept all the cool shit that goes with being rich and famous.

Trajectory was higher pre-Mahomes going crazy in the NFL, but I agree. We could have very well missed out on a new Brady-Manning rivalry.

Social media can make someone rich and famous, and there are countless examples of people that have proven they can't handle those two things.

Nah, having to deal with the annoying family of an athlete we like and cheer for isn't any different conceptually than having to deal with the annoying family of a person we are in a relationship with. Some things we like have a few annoying things that come along with them. This isn't any different.

But Jesus Christ of course it's different. The stakes are entirely different.

Only in that dealing with my annoying in-laws is much more impactful to my life than dealing with Mahomes' annoying family members.

I agree with the sentiments of the previous two posts, but the sad part is this behavior is the norm for the influencer crowd. Lot of awful people.

There are videos of him working on these sideline video "dances" during the game for like 30min. Such a clout chaser. I don't understand why he's allowed to be on the sidelines. Seems like a distraction waiting to happen on the road.
