Boschee with a calm 18 3PA's, lol. Played college ball two decades too early.

843 3PA in his career, easily the most by a Jayhawk.
Next up, with 120 fewer, is Vonte.

That said, both Svi and Vonte shot more 3 pointers in one season ( 2018 - let it fly ) than Boschee ever did.

The NCAA has those freakishly hot teams shooting light’s out. Delaware, Auburn. Michigan. That is why 2012 was a special year for me. Purdue still went down. AD was pretty much a fouling machine at no cost in the last game, or they would have lost too.

I don't recall having issues with how that game was officiated.
We just weren't quite as good as they were.

That 2012 game?

Our problem in the game was the same as damn near every game that tournament - we’d start cold, and have to spend the rest of the game playing catch-up.

Their all star lineup had an effect on the temperature of our offense.
4 1st rounders including no. 1 and no. 2 and 2 2nd rounders.
Yowza.

The thing I remember about that 2012 is that for the most part it was a pretty competitive game, just every time it looked like Kansas had the slightest bit of momentum Doron Lamb would hit a shot and they could just never get over that hump.

1:30 left in the game, Ty Ty wasthisclose to a steal that would have brought the game to within 3.
Would have been a 15-3 run and Kentucky, I bet, would have called a timeout.

Effin’ Doron Lamb. I think we recruited that dude hard. I remember it similarly. The dude didn’t do anything after college of note

Almost threw the ball out of bounce that same possession and a save, one pass later ended up with AD wide open underneath and fouled.

Wonder what Self would say about those 2 plays. During the Self Perspective of the Duke game he talks about how Svi got the tying shot only because Duval gambled for a steal.

Hinrich wasthisclose to a steal in the waning moments of the Cuse game too.
Also wasthisclose to a deep 3 pointer that went around the rim.
But KU wasn't close on a lot of free throws ( Collsion ).
