In that case mostly in this order - this is not a ranking of my favorites by any means but just what I think people probably could identify most easily:
Jaws, Star Wars, James Bond, Psycho, Halloween, Home Alone, Rocky, Forrest Gump, Ghostbusters, Braveheart, The Godfather, Jurassic Park, Rudy, Mission Impossible, Indiana Jones, Superman, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Titanic, Dances With Wolves, E.T., Hoosiers, Back To The Future, The Pink Panther, Star Trek.

I'd like to put Alien on there, and it should be, but I don't think people are cool enough.

My 3 roomies my freshman year ( Templin so 4 to a room ) didn't drink so they'd often do planned things by non-partying KU groups.
I think one Friday night in late October I decided to not get hammered and join them - and it just so happened they were going to see 'Alien' at a theater in the student Union.
Was like 3 bucks, there was popcorn, much better time than I thought, and I remembered it!

For a second i thought, whoa what if pdub was my long loost 4th roomie in tempo in that we didn’t talk to?

Then I read the next two words and LOL never mind.

To this day I wonder if anyone ever found the hundreds of natty light cans we hid in the ceiling panels.

We were on the 3rd floor, our room closest to the North facing fire escape stairs.
Three part operation, one lookout at the top of the stairs, one holding the door because it would lock behind you, one sneaking the pony keg from the parking lot around the building up said stairs.

I think Trent Reznor's The Social Network score will hold up.

created a compilation playlist today of many of the soundtracks/scores mentioned here

a couple things:

1) i had forgotten how good the Dances with Wolves score is

2) the Indiana Jones theme might be my favorite John Williams bit

3) i’ve been inspired, and might actually give the Star Wars saga (except for the fully animated shit) a go from start to finish over the holiday (https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/life/e ... -in-order/)

Jurassic Park is my favorite of his but Williams knocks most of his scores out of the park.

Some of his underrated stuff:

A.I.
The Terminal
Saving Private Ryan
