I ranked my opinion of the 3 most important home games we've had this year.

at the time, the misery game was the biggest home game of the season.

at the time, the kentucky game was the biggest home game of the season.

today, the baylor game is the biggest home game of the season.

see how that works. it's fluid.

In the context of conference race theory, Baylor’s the biggest.

But, I agree. This thread is just too woke for my taste.

So we could just say that it is a big game and then not have to argue over the superlative? Awesome.

Big game. I hope Agbaji is able to play. Sounds like he tested positive over the weekend, requiring him to quarantine for five days. HE then needs to have a negative test after Day 5 to be able to play. Assuming that since he played last Saturday vs. UK, his positive test was either Saturday evening or Sunday, meaning that there are enough days from a protocol standpoint to play Saturday. Just has to test negative. Fingers crossed. Beating ISU minus Agbaji is one thing. That isn't happening vs. Baylor.

a win over baylor if we are minus oa and rm is a tall order for sure.

BasketballJayhawk wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 9:50 am That's a big no from me dawg. This game ranks 3rd out of those 3 for me.

Biggest home games this year so far:
1. Mizzou (rivalry renewed)
2. UK (college gameday, #1 vs #2 all time wins)
3. Baylor (conference race)
I agree. Those 2 felt a lot bigger than Baylor. But. Baylor I suppose matters more beyond one individual game.

Sad thing is none of these turned out to be games so far

Huge win.
2 game lead.
Youd think if we come out with a W in Austin Monday we got ourselves at least a share.

But we all know Liberace has us at AFH. Circled on the calendar. That is the game of the season. NIT implications for him.

Go 4-0 in next 4 and you win the league.
3-1 still likely gets you a share.

We gotta stop playing so many close games.

We shoulda won that game by 8-10, we let these average conference teams hang around too close too often.
I only came to kick some ass...

Luanardi says the winner of the B12 will be a 1 seed.

14-4 should do it.
But we can go 15-3.

Kansas 10-2 - @ WVU, v ksu, @ BU, @ TCU, v TCU, v UT
Baylor 9-3 - @ TTU, v TCU, @ OSU, v KU, @ UT, v ISU
Texas Tech 8-4 - v BU, @ UT, v OU, @ TCU, v ksu, @ OSU
Texas 7-5 - @ OU, v TTU, v TCU, @ WVU, v BU, @ KU

Ideal is Baylor looses at Tech Wednesday.
That would give us a 2 game cushion with 6 games left.

if we can limit our conference L's to 4 , we should get at least a share. 14-4 would be good.

i can see us losing 2. @wvu and @bu.
