If any coach is to blame for THIS loss, it is Bill Self, in my opinion.

Taking shots at Norm because he isn't Bill Self is classless. Norm fulfilled his obligations as a coach today. Bill Self didn't.

Don't like the plays that were called? Blame Bill Self. He couldn't fulfill his obligations as head coach today.
Just have to quote this one real quick.

At the very least I disagree enough to where I think Self would have made a difference in this game.

Otherwise why doesn’t Kansas just hire you and illy as coaches?

Norm Roberts was our head coach for 25% of the season.

Bill Self is to blame for that.

Nobody needs to "be blamed" for this.

KU lead for 95% of the game. Arkansas weathered the storm and hung in there and made plays at the end of the game. Arkansas is also a good team. KU shouldve won but it didn't quite work out. Still a good season. Everyone calm down

What else is Self supposed to say?
Guy is humble as hell, he knows how to be a coach off the court too.

This is coming from a guy who thinks Scott Drew is the second coming of Phog Allen.

You should read it twice and them jump out your apartment window for taking victory laps shitting on Norm Roberts for Bill Self's shortcomings as a coach today/25% of the season when he wasn't on the bench.

I don’t live in an apartment.
There’s no victory laps.

I think Self would have add the difference in this game. I don’t think Norm Roberts is a top 25 D1 coach. I don’t think he did well today.

Do I think the players are more at fault?
Of course.
That doesn’t mean I can’t say the best Xs and Os coach in the game would have done ( much ) better.

Randy: whenever PDub doesn't agree with what Self says he conveniently just says it's "coach speak". Self is only telling the truth when PDub agrees with him.

Anyone blaming norm can get fucked. This team probably over achieved all season. Lost about 75 percent of their scoring from a national championship team, still won 28 games and won the toughest conference in basketball outright. One of selfs best coaching jobs ever. This teams ceiling was never that high. Undersized forward playing center all season due to a lack of experienced bigs, and limited shooting and playmaking from the backcourt. Not sure why anyone expected this team to be a title contender.

They accomplished a lot this season, don't take it for granted

Norm went 7-2 as head coach this year. Norm did everything he could have possibly done for KU this year.

I won't take shots at Norm for ANYTHING this year. He went above and beyond for KU.

Other than the 25% of the season he wasn't there.

Phog Allen was statically KU's worst coach of all time. All I've ever said was Scott drew is "good" and gonna end up in the hall of fame. Both of true. Not my fault some of yall are dumb enough to argue against the basics

He had to go to the emergency room for heart issues and have an operation.

Bill Selfs fault!

Nice.

Yes, Bill Self is responsible for his health.

You blaming Norm for that too?

All the things you blame Norm for you should be blaming Self for.

Self wasn't there to call the super secret never fail plays he doesn't share with anyone else. That's Bill's fault. Not Norm's. Norm did 100% of his job this year. And 25% of Bill's.

This season wasn't "anyone's fault"

The ceiling of this team just wasn't that high.

Only at kansas can you win 28 games, win the toughest conference in the country, win a tourney game, lose a close second round game, during a rebuilding season coming off a national title, and have fans see it as a disappointment
