I was confused for a moment.....Wooden was born in Indiana but has no other ties to the university.....went to Purdue and coached briefly at Indiana St....but....no Hoosier connection.....

i may have misread the tweet, so blame me. the tweet was part of a “story” citing Vernon and Mgbako’s announcement…may have been BleacherReport but i’m not sure

a number of national analysts picking Kansas based solely on comparisons between the situations (proven track record vs guaranteed minutes)

formal announcement slated for 6pm ET

I think landing Mgbako is very likely at this point. He wasn't going to be in direct competition with Ejiofor and Udeh for minutes, but he would likely play some minutes at the 4. At this point, a starting spot would probably be his to lose, especially with the need for outside shooting. If he commits, we're likely looking at:

Harris, Timberlake/Jackson/Morris, Mgbako, Adams, Dickinson

Well, so much for my confidence in us landing Mgbako. Headed to IU.
