Breckenridge bar.
Todd Reesing and co had no issues thumping Minny.
I was there...in the Minnesota players' family section. Good times.

Also, bump. Gameday, ladies and gents.

Wish kickoff was an hour earlier but Rock Chalk, I’m staying up!

Another reason I wish we woulda passed on this bowl. Not great recruiting geography. Not great recruiting time of game. Horrible, horrible recruiting opponent.

Just a miss, and a complete no-win.

A win for KU is an absolute win, I don’t care who the opponent is, it’s a bowl win.

I want KU to win in a rout. That’d just be super fun and fitting for Bean who almost went out with that play v Arkansas.

I guess - but we're fans.

Beating UNLV something like 27-21 in a game that no non-fans are going to know exist, let alone watch, isn't going to move the excitement/enthusiasm needle much.

To be clear, this goalpost shifting is an enormous credit to Lance and the program.

well, they'll be able to add it to the hype video, if nothing else.

Beating UNLV 38-15 do anything for us with Bean throwing for 300 and 4 and Neal over 150?
It does for me.

might get Neal more look from the league. Good for him if so.

Seriously, UNLV as an opponent is a bummer.

Sure. But that's the problem. Every game has four basic outcomes - big loss, close loss, close win, big win.

I hate that only one of those four outcomes would be, to me, acceptable here. That's what I mean by no-win.

What about a 12 point win?

I don’t care what BWW Chad thinks of our bowl game. I’m excited as hell.

Not sure it's about the points, necessarily. But when we get to midnight ET tonight, I feel like anything less than a thumping will leave me feeling unsatisfied.

And that's not the way this year should end - but it's a testament to what a wizard Lance is; who knew that Kansas math could come for football?

Jesus.
We were a 1 win team for a decade plus.
Ugh. Only 9 wins this year. What a bummer.

Unsatisfied.

Nope. Fan me is super excited as well.

Big picture me says UNLV and this bowl is less exposure, which could ultimately (not decidedly) be less attractive.

In May most of us were hoping for a 7 win season. ESPN had us down for 4.

Recruits aren't old like us so the game time is probably good for them.

It is nice to see; but will be a tougher game than most. The losses of experienced players tend to fall heavier on the Power 5 team.

Unsatisfied because of how good we were this year despite massive QB problems. That's how good Lance is, and how excited I am about the direction of the program.

If my 5 day vacation at a 3 star resort got upgraded for free to a 12 day vacation at a five star resort but then that offer fell through and I just got a 9 day vacation at a four star resort, I’d be mildly mildly upset but certainly wouldn’t be unsatisfied. I’d be happy that it was better than expected to begin with, was still on vacation and enjoy myself.

We all are different I guess.

There is one game I was pissed about: Playing UT on the road in the 100-degree temperatures. The team hung around for quite awhile, even then. Kansas having to play UT, OU, OSU, KSU and TTU, which were all favorites for the league championship was special. I am very proud of the team for what they accomplished against that schedule.
