77. That was one of the worst reps I have ever seen. That was awful.

Some plays lacking effort tonight. Specifically from the OLine, Corners, and LBs.

Makes no sense, especially given the injuries at RB.

That offensive line has some serious issues. Kansas' first stringers should be third stringers. Two steps slower than the guys across from them in most games.

Too many mistakes. But a road game to CCU. I am more embarrassed for the athletic department. Lots to like. But lacked depth and experience to play prison teams.

Fine with the result and showing tonight.

Yes it got ugly in 4th quarter but we looked like a competing team for about 40 game minutes out of 60. 2 score game entering 4th quarter.

BABY STEPS. That Kansas team that played tonight beats Duke, Tech and maybe another. Coastal just too damn efficient.

Odd game; didn't realize how disappointed I was with the game until mid-4th quarter.

The targeting non call changed the feel and was so bush league. Probably lose by two scores. The refs absolutely did not control important elements of the game. CCU lacks a filter. But after next week they have a stupidly easy schedule.

Shitty when the announcers are talking about the line. Kick the FG next time. Screw Vegas. But ESPN was absolutely bagging on the Big XII and punched down on KU in the late part of the game. Probably need to take them down a peg

Coastal basically returning EVERYBODY. McCall is a stud. They are efficient as hell. Defense is fast and physical. Overall just a fun team to watch.

Kansas now has a game under their belt with Leipold. Coaches finally got to see them in game action. Got to study actual game tape in their scheme. Bean with a nice 4th quarter GW drive. He already beat the QB rushing stats that Kansas QBs had last year.

Think Kansas comes out much improved. Running game will surely be better executed, even though the defense will be much better from Coastal.

Think Bean finds a nice groove early on. Think his arm talent gave the staff some confidence to open the game up a bit.

Don’t think the atmosphere will be too wild. It’s a smaller stadium. All these guys have played in bigger stadiums with bigger crowds.

That being said. The Jayhawks Are Coming. Just not tonight.

KU 17. Coastal 45.

24-10 at halftime. Then Coastal wears Kansas down.
Not too far off….

I’ll take in the 3rd quarter it was a one score game and was one KU three and out from really getting interesting.

Like Newton pointed out CCU wore Ku down and the finally score was reflective of that. That wasn’t 60 minutes but it was close. At this stage I’ll take that.

Just get better each week and that could mean a duke win and 1 league win. I’d take.

If they can beat Baylor next week that would completely surpass all expectations I had for this season. You add a road win against Baylor I would call this season a success.

Any win versus a Big 12 team would be worth popping some champagne.

Or whatever you got.

That was a typo. Two home wins and a road win.
