Have we seen any updates on whether McCullar is going to start playing again any time soon?

Terrance Shannon has stink on him.
I'm not guessing who will get it because then i'd agree Kevin has a better shot.
I'm saying who i'd put on there, within reason.
Because otherwise my 1st team AA is:

KJ Adams
Kevin McCullar
Dajuan Harris
Johnny Furphy
Michael Jankovich

From reporter Matt Tait: "Self said McCullar practiced Wednesday and should be good to go if he handles today and Friday's sessions well. He also noted that getting McDowell back from illness shouldn't be an issue at all."

He is a must have in a must win - if you care about the Big 12 race, which you should.

At this point, they need some wins to keep from free falling in their ncaa tourney seed.

The big 12 race feels over for us. Right now we are in 5th, have already lost on the road to teams in 1st and 4th, still have to go on the road to teams currently in 2nd and 3rd

Also already lost on the road to teams currently in 10th, 12th, and 13th in the league

Some people say it's hard to take the opinion of a person who chooses not to watch some KU games, seriously.

I've done my best to defend you, but I can't say it has been easy.

What other teams do matters too.

We are ranked 6th in the fucking country. We aren't free falling.

UNC has 6 losses. Zona has 5 losses. Tennessee 6 losses.

We finish strong and we could still get a 1 seed with all of our quality wins.

Outside of UConn and Purdue everyone is bunched. I think we are safely a 2 or 3 seed when it's all said and done.

Safely?
I think you need to remember a big metric that helps determine how NCAA seeding is calculated.

https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketbal ... t-rankings

We are 5th in the B12 there.

You drop 2 of these 3 - @ OU, @ Baylor, @ Houston?
That's 8 losses. With 8 losses I think you might need a good showing at the B12 tourney or you could drop to a 4.

I don't think you can say safely.

I get it. We've got big opportunities left for more wins over top teams. "When it's all said and done" was my caveat. Right now today we'd be a 3 or 4 probably?

Side note: Look at all those quad 4 games ISU and BYU have played.

Kansas has 6 more games left plus whatever they play in the Big 12 tourney. Nothing is safe yet. Lots of room for movement up or down still.

I should also mention - BYU is going to be tough. If we needed the refs to bail us out of the TCU game at home we can’t just assume we will beat the Mormons.

If we finish with 8 losses going into selection Sunday then I think we'll be a 2 seed.

That'll require good play the next several weeks.

I think by missing these games he’s out of the running for B12POY which woulda been our third in a row and fourth in five years.
