ahhhh…that’s why timme is pumping uconn. he just wants another lopsided rivalry to deflect from statie’s 50+ years of playing second fiddle to the flag

Put whatever value you wish on this: CU & AZ, with half-a-dozen more to come?

I just thought it was worth a read.

The guy in the article I cited was suggesting CU & AZ now, with an end-game of 4 new schools from the west (incl. CU/AZ) and 4 from the east. He didn't identify a source, or why he concluded this is the goal, nor what defines west and east.

As for the west, maybe if AZ comes into the fold, so will ASU. At that point, perhaps one more PAC'er feels comfy coming along, too. Personally, I've no idea which schools look like attractive targets in the east.

Just highly-processed food for thought. Not necessarily good for you, but fun to munch on.

I'd be happy with that. Tough conference, but not a meat grinder like the SEC.

it's hard to look at that setup and not say: yep, that makes sense. utah or san diego state could easily slip in for arizona state.

https://www.kxan.com/sports/sports-illu ... %20reports.

San Diego State University has sent a written notification to the Mountain West that it plans on leaving the conference, and the school asked the conference to delay the official deadline to withdraw, Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger reports...

i’ll be shocked if pac schools end up getting what Big12 schools do, but maybe it won’t matter if it’s close enough

The PAC12 is so screwed. The lost two of their flagship schools and replaced them with nada. Just a guess but they do not want to announce any TV deal because the second they do schools leaving which will most likely nullify said TV deal. Now say a school says forget this and bolts its over. SDSU might get an invite to Pac12 but who still going to be in that conference?

the BIG 12 has made all the right moves since it was announced those 2 $#!thole schools were moving to the sec. but, i'm not gonna get too cocky until we can land the deathblow.

i do like where we are headed.

Crazy to think that OU and OSU tried joining the PAC in 2011, only to be denied.
