Furthree has got to get his 3 stroke back so their defense can't collapse so much on HU and/or KJ. He could be the key to this game - continue his hustle play, decent D, and HIT SOME 3s.
And ... pray to the gods we don't get in foul trouble

Don't think that's going to happen. He will most likely be a sub for KJ next year.

For his sake, I hope so. He obviously wants to be here. Wants to get better. Those are good types of players to have on the roster in supporting roles.

I have hope for Zach that he'll become our Lightfoot - our first big off the bench who could mix it at either spot depending on who is out there.

Braun is doing a good job of that this year. You need guys to buy into their role.

Stinks that Houston and Iowa State only got 1 Big Monday road game each while KU will not only have two of them but in back to back weeks.

Scheduling aside, there's no excuse for losing to UCF and WVA. You expect to run into Hilton magic now and again and K-state always plays their best game of the year when the Jayhawks come to town but those other 2 we really needed to get.

ksu is a bubble team this year.
gotta beat them at both places.
although ksu beat them in manhattan, UCF might be better than ksu.

Ucf probably is better. Size and good athletes, just not a great offensive team.
Kstate has been very unimpressive this year. Even with it being a "rivalry game/their superbowl" that still felt like a bad loss

really need Nick and Elmarko to provide something positive tonight.
It's a shame Jamari is sick, I'd love to see him get some minutes, I trust him more than I trust Nick, despite his productivity not being real high either.
