Trying to come up with some joke about stone cold Stephen F. Austin...and that’s the bottom line...

I think that's right. To be fair though, two of those top 4 losses were to other top 4 teams.

I’m sure it’s been discussed, but the time of the final for the Maui invitational is silly.

I couldn’t imagine going to Hawaii for a vacation and having a day split in two by a basketball game. Unless maybe it was the NCAA tournament.

To each their own I suppose. Or perhaps I’m just envious of the amount of vacation time I perceive those that go for the basketball must have.

As someone in the East coast who has half a day of work today, I find the time of the final absolute perfection.

Just saw that SFA was such an underdog to Duke that Caesars did not even put a line out on it. Too funny.

Watching Coach K try to be a gracious loser is one of my favorite viewing pleasures. What a turd.

The game times are weird in Maui. I don’t like it.

ESPN banking on a lot of people taking today off around noon.

Sucks for those like me who have to work until 5 today, so won't be able to watch easily while at work, and then have to listen to Hanni on drive home.

It’s days like today where being able to work from home is a godsend.

The championship game used to be late, like 9:30 CST.

Ratings must not have been great and they're trying this out. Everyone here is too drunk by 9:30.

I wonder how flexible the scheduling is. Would KU vs MSU still be mid afternoon or would it be prime time on ESPN 2?

I would think a 6pm CT, 7pm ET is the perfect time slot. Can't imagine what else they want in that slot.

Now looking at schedule, they placed Brooklyn at Boston in the NBA in that 6pm slot. Bad move, IMO.

Don't even mid-tier NBA games smoke almost all college basketball games in the ratings, other than like Duke/UNC and then the NCAA tournament?

I don't know about that, but ESPN has less flexibility under the NBA contract and its slot is set in stone. ESPN wants our game on the Uno and to not compete with NBA.

Anyone watching Michigan / Iowa State? Me either. Ju Howard might be 5-0 after today. For whatever that's worth.

Yep old Roy at it again. Down five Michigan goes on run. Roi just sits on his hands and watches as his team gets run over. There is a reason you get time outs Roi but I am positive it's to late for Roi to learn the time out to slow down another team.
