Basic Kenpom is free.
8th overall.
28th adjO.
4th adjD.

Feels about right. Lots of room for improvement from the offense. Not bad considering the caliber of opponent we've played this season.

Kenpom takes strength of opponent into consideration for those numbers.

SOS ( strength ) 25th.
4th strongest of the top 25.
Tennessee the strongest in the top 25 ( 6th ).

I say it too often. Kenpom is nice but.....
The bottom line is all the stats and metrics in the world can't stop a #51 on Kenpom with a 155 sos from beating #2 on Kenpom with a sos of 10.

1. I wouldn’t fully say Kenpom has enough data til mid January.
2. It’s college basketball. Upsets happen all the time. It’s why the NCAA tournament is so fun but also poor at determining the best team.
