Him not being guarded will bite us in the ass, and I hope that’s not at the wrong time. And maybe that’s lineup management. But I’m happy tonight. Dajuan’s skip pass to Och was so sweet it made me forget how bad Dajuan lineups can be.

If everyone else is rocking, Dejuan is a good fit.
And I don't think everyone is rocking because of Dejaun.
He's feels like a safe floor play.

Also maybe i'm just loosing my touch but why does Coleman Lands look like a good shooter but just isn't?

i.e. i think our ceiling would be higher if Yesufu got bit by a radioactive spider or Pettiford found a DeLorean and plucked his 2022-23 self from AFH rather than having a poorman's Russell Robinson.

Nice to not play a team that grinds a game to a halt. KU for the most part was crisp and aggressive last night. Still plenty of individual improvements to be made but overall the team is moving the ball with purpose and moving without the ball with energy.

They still need to learn to play better defense. St. John's did make a high number of tough, contested shots in their 2nd half run but we still gave them too many easy looks throughout. Overall, the team made progress and looked better than last week.

Braun hitting free throws like a stud and getting angry at disrespect. This was a memorable game. Winning by 20 in the FIRST game played at Belmont was terrific and is now a forever stat. Remember how bad the Jayhawks were beaten at First Union Center on a slick floor? Bill deserves a lot of credit from learning from that. Still slick, but the shoes were good enough this time.

This team can be scary good if everyone is clicking. Hoping that we peak at the right time!
