I just googled “Kansas Indiana basketball” and got the box score from 2016.

Been wanting to get back at them ever since that aircraft carrier bullshit.
All of those aircraft carrier games were trash.

Granted overtime, but still, it’s crazy it was a 103-99 game.

If teams are prone to cold shooting in an unfamiliar venue like a stadium, go figure they managed to score so well on an effing boat.

Not played on a boat. Played at Stan Sheriff center in Honolulu. Hawaii's campus.

As PhD said, I think that game was in a proper arena in Honolulu.

I recall no tickets being sold. Armed forces only outside of players' families.

Was it Michigan St and UNC that played on the deck of boat in the ocean? Didn't even try to make it a gym. Might as well have just found a local park to play at.

I don't remember the details anymore but wasn't this game originally supposed to be on a boat?

This I do remember being the case because I wanted to go to the game (errr, I mean Hawai'i!)

I'm pretty sure you're right. I think the previous year of UNC/Michigan State proved to be difficult with slight rocking of the boat. I think they wanted to make sure the playing surface wasn't moving.
