I think it's a really weak season and COVID is probably a part of it.

OU a Top 10 team? Even in our worst stretch we played them pretty evenly.

KU 2020 would be -3 against Gonzaga 2021.

this will be three weeks in a row where we play in in-conference foe ranked ahead of us, in spite of having an inferior resume.

OSU, TTU, and now UT.

Even though we had better records, better SOS, and were ahead in the conference standings.

The ONLY thing making me hesitate about the UT game is the ass-kicking they gave us...maybe they're just a bad matchup for us...otherwise I think we win in Austin. They're in the middle of a possible meltdown. Players fighting on the sidelines, lost 5 of their last 8, etc.

Only 7 games behind UK now in all-time wins. KU is at 2,319 and UK is at 2,326.

UK may have an unfair advantage and get to play in the NIT.
But maybe not b/c we know what happened last time they were in the NIT.

Worst offense since 06, at 50.

I know there’s a lot of posters who just don’t see this team being contenders next season but I think we can be a team like 07. Not the top seed but a low 1 high 2.

Who’s our point guard in that bunch? Bryce? Has he even shown any flashes that he can be a solid ball handler that can really distribute and blow past his defender when we really need someone to get to the hoop? Isn’t that the same problem we’ve had this year?

I agree with both, and I actually think Jalens handles are better than MG’s. But I think we can all agree that neither DH nor JW are the elite point guard that this team desperately needs.

True.
Even without a transfer, Harris and Bryce will be better and I think enough to lead a much improved team.

RussRob wasn’t so impactful his freshman year—you could see Harris taking a similar path.
