It's either marriage this offseason or it's Taylor Swift's hottest selling breakup album.

And if it's marriage best man odds:

Jason Kelce -300
Patrick Mahomes + 250
Andy Reid + 600
State Farm Jake + 1500

Kelce should negotiate, in the pre-nup, 75% of all royalties from any breakup song.

You might know that there is a boomy, whooshy sound effect that is played on Chiefs’ radio broadcasts, exactly at each kickoff.

The purpose of that sound effect, I just learned this morning, is to help you sync the Chiefs’ radio feed to your TV feed. If you stream the radio broadcast, it will be a little behind your TV feed (streaming or no). The idea is to pause your TV feed right at the moment of kickoff contact, and then press play right at the moment of that sound effect.

Would you rather:

A. A Chiefs win vs SF in 2 Sundays, KUBB 2nd in the B12, high 3 seed, E8 loss.

B. A Chiefs loss in 2 Sundays, KUBB 1st in B12, 1 seed, make it to the title game vs another 1 seed as an underdog with no guarantees.

Me?
It's so A.

Same with me. Basketball has really frustrated me lately. That WVU outlier game was just so 2024

One hand, you've got a guaranteed title.

The other, you still have a SB appearance and a chance at a title, so minimum 2nd place finish in both sports.

To be honest though, even if we altered B to be guaranteed, i'm takin' A this season.

I'll take the guaranteed title vs. the "hopefully" a title so it's A for me. IF B was a guaranteed KU title then I'd pick B.

I'm going B.

Because I think DH Kj KM and HD would bring it home, especially as underdogs.

I wish KC had drafted Sam LaPorta in the 1st round last year instead of that dud DE from KSU. Three years of LaPorta and Kelce together before Kelce retires and LaPorta took over full time would have been spectacular.

I'd give FAU another year before we call him a dud.
We have some depth on the DLine. Omenihu got back and has played well and so he just hasn't seen the field -- we have to hope a year of being in a pro environment will have him ready for next season b/c we may end up loosing a lot of guys there.

But yea, LaPorta and Kelce, while I think Noah Gray is actually decent, would be pretty nasty...though most saw Kincaid as easily the better prospect.

I still think we coulda gotten Rice without trading up but i'm very glad we got him.
And I also think we coulda gotten Wanya without trading up but he might be a good get too.
I think we could have gotten FAU, Rice, Wanya AND Jordan Battle ( instead of Chamarri ).

Pdub's 5 questions on a sad for me, but happy for everyone else random Thursday as if today is any different than anyday! Answer if you want but you probably won't even read this but that's OK with me!!

1. If you knew the Chiefs could win by 30 if you did this would you:
A. Strip fully nude, run to the closest stop sign right now, jump up and slap it and do the Chiefs chant?
B. Eat only pulled pork until the Super Bowl kickoff
C. Poop on your office desk and leave it there til the end of the day
D. Do none of those things and take your chances

2. Which shoes would you wear if you had to wear them for the month of February?

A.

B. Image
C. Image

3. I have this friend. Let's call her a coworker actually. She sends me these erotic pictures of her when i'm trying to sleep from 2 AM to 4 AM. Anyways, I see her at lunch and she wipes her nose with her sleeve. Right there! So later that day when she's walking by me in the hall she asks, "hey, wanna get outta here early and play hooky" and then one of her eyes closes. Clearly SICK at the OFFICE! I say, "i've got a lot of work to do, sorry" but what I really should have said was, "GO HOME if you are SICK - you clearly have no control over one of your eyes!". Anyways, should I have told her that next time she's feeling ill treated by God or Jesus or Mr Chauvin or whomever causes her to get sick she just just stay home?

4. Do you like Crimson or Blue better?

5. If you had to live as this person for 2 weeks starting now and got all their talents and knew all their thoughts but also mixed yours who would you be?

A. Travis Kelce
B. Joe Biden
C. Brad Pitt
D. Elon Musk
E. Kate Upton
F. LeBron James

This doesn't sound like a bad thing. Am I missing something?

2. Which shoes would you wear if you had to wear them for the month of February?
A, probably in the rare times I actually wear shoes during the day.

3. We're at the age where people's eyes do weird shit from time to time. Don't assume she's sick. She may want to fuck you and just sucks at making flirty faces.

4. Do you like Crimson or Blue better?

Blue mostly days; crimson some days.

5. If you had to live as this person for 2 weeks starting now and got all their talents and knew all their thoughts but also mixed yours who would you be?

D. Elon Musk. I could do a lot of good with his money in 2 weeks.

Really?
Just pulled pork for what 9 days straight?
Nothing else. Pulled pork and water to drink.

That would make me pretty ill.
