The frustrating part is that there’s probably not a P5 school that couldn’t be found to have broken the rules, so it’s really just a matter of what they choose to look into.

But I guess you could apply that to a number of situations where people are breaking the rules.
I got caught with a six pack of beer and a handle of vodka in my dorm my freshman year while the people down the hall were having a kegger.

I guess in this case though, the people having the kegger ( Duke ) could be having it out in the open and the cops would be partying with them and posting it on instagram.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, Kansas actually DOES about this. It's all well and good to whine to the press but that will die down by the time this news cycle ends. Then Duke will play again and all the national media will go back to yammering about them and the NCAA is off the hook.

The news about the NCAA forcing KU to label Gassnola a booster is very interesting. I would be curious to see if KU is feeling bold enough to launch some sort of legal action against the NCAA. I doubt it but nothing surprises me any more.

The problem is that Kansas has no punch that they can throw. We can do NOTHING other than whine in the press. What are we going to do, sue them? For what? Leave the NCAA? And play who?

The NCAA will just sit there quiet and this will all blow over. They are the judge, the jury and the appeals court. The only way this changes is if it went through the court system and the courts forced a third party arbitrator to get involved. That would take so long that the 2 years would be done and all we'd have is less money.
