It's a bummer that this team hasn't found it's rhythm. They just aren't a very good defensive team this year. Seeing how much all of the perennial powers have come back to the pack leads me to believe that the severe shortage of practices and time spent with coaching staffs due to covid has more negatively impacted the teams with elite coaches.

Left more to their own individual talents, the KU kids are more like their competition than ever. Everyone else has kids ranked in HS as high or higher than most of these KU players. They just haven't had as much input from the Hall of Fame coach that would normally raise them from and average level to an elite level. Weird year.

I hope KU keeps fighting and working their asses off to get better. Maybe they figure out a way to gel (or play defense) and they make a run. Maybe they get beat early. If they look like they're working and trying to get better, I am happy. Most of these guys are back next year and get another shot at a more normal KU experience.

This could be the lowest seed we have ever had into the tournament but I'd put more money on em winning two than I would habe 14, 15 or 19.

I hope we slop together a final 4 run. If we get hot from 3 we can do it as long as we avoid the baylor or gonzaga brackets.

Would be a fun year to get a 2004 kinda luck.

Beat a 12, fortunately face the 13.

If Grimes had stayed he would have gotten to be PG this year probably.

We are going to end up lower than a 5 seed. More like a 7 or 8.

If the tourney was played right now I wouldn't expect them to win any games. They haven't beaten a tourney team in more than a month.

The way this team is trending right now, I was thinking more between an 11-13.

I’d bet good money we don’t end up lower than a 7.

I think we crawl back into the top 25, settle around the low 20s before the tournament and are rewarded for SOS.

How bad would "this team" lose to one of these teams?

My advice to this team. Don’t unpack in Indy.

So they just have to wear their uniforms on the trip from Lawrence and sleep in them too? Also hopefully the place they are staying at has complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste.
