But you know that.
I do get where you are coming from and I actually respect your feelings.
I was just pointing out Self is a fan of Black KU attire.
I happen to like black FOOTBALL uniforms in general but if I was a traditionalist, I would probably be close to appalled that the KU players feel the need to prioritize the culture of "coolness" over school tradition.
School identity is becoming a lost tradition. Transfer portal, how much NIL $$$ can I get, where do I get the most exposure, etc. Todays players are more and more about the name on the back, not on the front. I do admit to having some struggle embracing the change, but it is what it is.

OK. But it is just a uni, and just one game.

We beat Illinois, and we may like those fu*kers.

Won't chg our school colors. rcjh!
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

It's "Kansas" and "Football" (but not "Kansas Football"), so in lieu of the existence of an NFL 2023 thread, this seems like the best place.

Also, I love everything I have seen of Jamari McDowell.

Kansas' next opponent, Nevada, lost to Idaho this week 33-6. KU by a bunch next week. Then I get to go to the home game vs. BYU. Excited that I get to go to 2 home games this year and excited that going to a KU football game is exciting again.

Sure there are. They're at 28th in the AP, 32nd in coaches.

Unless you meant they aren't in the top 25... but they did receive votes.

Nevada outscored 99-20 in their first 2 games. KU around a 28 point favorite. I'll take the Pack and the points and hope KU wins by 27.

Not sure about that one, G. They are factoring some turnovers in I think.

I'm still thinking it's cool for KU to be favored against an FBS team.

BYU, our next opponent, just went on the road to top a good Arkansas team.

The line will likely be within 5 or 6 I’d guess.

3:30 ET on ESPN.

I watched the Penn St-Illinois game to see how we look. We for sure are in play.
Now the BYU game. BYU fell behind 14 points super quick and could have fallen apart on the road against an SEC team.
However they actually played really really well. We going to have to play better than we did against Nev. I think we can win but we going to have our hands full with BYU.

KU - 7 (to open) and I am now seeing KU -8.5
I hope KU wins by plenty but if someone forced me to bet on the game I would take BYU +8.5.

Yea.
That's too much right there. 7 maybe. 8.5, nope.

We are 32nd out of 39 unbeatens according to this dude.

"32. Kansas (3-0)
SP+ and FPI rankings: 55th and 58th
SP+ strength of schedule to date: 94th
Odds of reaching 12-0, per SP+: <0.1%
What they did in Week 3: def. Nevada 31-24

Why they're ranked here: After Nevada's blowout loss to Idaho, I assumed the Jayhawks would come home from Reno with a blowout win. Instead, they had to make a pair of late stops to prevail. That undid a lot of the good vibes emerging from KU's Week 2 win over Illinois, but it certainly speaks to how far this team has risen under Lance Leipold that we're now disappointed in its wins."

BYU just won at Arkansas last week so they are probably a good team. I am still at the point where every KU football win is labeled a good win so as many we can get as possible is great.

Just looking at the schedule, BYU will be our best bet at a win until @ Iowa State.
( I know Oklahoma State isn't the team that they used to be but it's in Stillwater ).
UCF looks to be better than people thought.

Similar to last season, notching that fourth win would be extremely beneficial to our bowling chances as we might not be favored again the rest of the season ( depending on Texas Tech ).
