In terms of food, I'll post about Joel's feelings on this thread.....

In terms of Joel not being too happy, I'll post about it on "his" thread.

Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
If where he went to school was irrelevant, why would they have an agreement to send the money after he enrolls at Duke? For someone who thinks "we good" is the most damning evidence to ever come in any case, you're pretty quick to proclaim Duke/K's innocence.IllinoisJayhawk wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 10:10 pm Saving grace for K / Duke is that those allegations have nothing to do with getting him to commit to duke and duke doesn't appear to be involved with the marketing agent. So while I think it is very possible that this stuff could result in wins vacated, unsurprisingly none of it directly implicates or involves duke or K....although i think we all know that if KT was "willing to do whatever it takes" then he didn't go to duke for free.
Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
I like how illy throws KU under the bus like they should have known they were being defrauded by a shoe guy who testified he defrauded KU, yet affords Duke this “saving grace” as the Zion allegations pile up.
Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
I didnt proclaim dukes innocence. In fact i did the exact opposite in my post. I was speaking only about the marketing agent. That doesnt appear to be tied to duke. I figure there are nike payments somewhere that would be more tied to duke, but unfortunately nike wasnt the center of an fbi investigation like adidas was.NDballer13 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 10, 2020 8:11 amIf where he went to school was irrelevant, why would they have an agreement to send the money after he enrolls at Duke? Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
Get a grip man. I didnt throw KU under the bus....and if you read my post instead of just looking to argue you would see i said its likely they vacate the wins zion played in. Just dont think this shows anything incriminating about coach K...even though we all likely think/know zion got nike/duke money to go to duke.
But you pretending Self doesnt know what his good friend TJ does for a living in laughable. I dont understand the head in the sand act. I dont get the end game with that intellectual dishonesty when at other times you say "everyone else does it too"...."but but but duke!".
It is widespread. I personally dont care if Self himself was taking bags of cash to recruits, so to think i am against KU becuase i choose not to play stupid about recruiting culture isnt fair. I dont think what goes on is "wrong" even though it is against the "rules".
Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
I don't think you chose to play stupid.

Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
Is there a reason why Illini posted on the wrong thread - and people are responding to his post?
Back to the NBA.....
Might be the best sports related thing you see all day.

I myself wondered why I was posting that in this thread after seeing responses. Total accident, i think i had 2 browser windows open on different threads.
If a mod has a free moment and it is easy will they please move to the correct thread?
Sorry guys.

Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
Lakers = 2 trash stars, broken PG and JR Smith! What a dumpster fire
Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
A dumpster fire that may win the nba title this year if it happens. In large part due to their 2 "trash stars" and their trash GM (lebron?).

Re: NBA 2019-2020 Regular Season
It is funny to see the "LOL @ *insert name of player*" who doesnt put messages on the back of their jersey....as if that actually does anything meaningful. Especially directed at lebron who has done incredible things for his community and is active in helping better the lives of hundreds if not thousands of underprivileged youth every single year.
Those slogans are great if players want to do them. If they dont then who cares. It is empty activism if that is all they are doing anyway. Lebron is not an empty activist. He does as much for minority youth as just about any nba player in history more than likely.
You are a if you think lebron needs his name on his jersey for branding purposes. He is a global icon.
